Where To Eat & Drink for Valentine's Day in Fort Wayne

Happy February! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, which means restaurant reservations for the holiday are quickly filling up (if they aren’t full already!). I’ve rounded up a list of where to eat and drink for Valentine’s Day in Fort Wayne this year, including who has specials and who is taking reservations. My advice: get your reservations in ASAP!! I’ll try to update this list as restaurants announce any new specials.

Trubble Brewing (FW)

If you’re looking to celebrate with your best gal friends this year, look no further than Trubble Brewing for your Galentine’s Day needs! Now through 2/13, Trubble is offering a sweet menu to celebrate, including:

Maple Bacon Chicken Waffle with the bacon bits built right in
Mimosa French Toast with Champagne glaze and raspberries
Fresh Berry Bruschetta with whipped honey ricotta, orange marmalade and fresh berries
Chocolate covered strawberry waffles
BLT egg ciabatta sandwich
Strawberry Banana Champagne Fizz

Oh Five Scoop Shop (FW)

Oh Five Scoop Shop is offering pre-order only dessert packages for V-Day this year. For $24.99, you can get a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and a pint of ice cream. They also have a smaller package for $17.99 that offers a 1/2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries and a pint of ice cream. So if you’re looking to celebrate but keep a tight budget, this is the one for you! Pre-orders must be in by 2/8.

Mocha Lounge (FW)

Why limit Valentine’s Day to just a day? Mocha Lounge is celebrating with a new love-themed menu that have Valentine’s Day inspired beverages. They’re offering the following: Pistachio Latte, Raspberry White Mocha, Honey Latte, Cherry Chai, Amaretto Latte, Sweetheart White Mocha, Cinnamon Latte, Chocolate Covered Cherry, Cinnamon Honey Chai, and a Vanilla Spice Latte.

Black Canyon (FW)

Black Canyon is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day Weekend, but they are filling quickly. Their Valentine’s Day features will be going on Friday through Monday, and include a made-to-share charcuterie board, two five ounce filet mignons topped with crab, shrimp, & a Dijon hollandaise, served with herb roasted fingerling potatoes + a mix of grilled veggies. For dessert, they’ll feature a chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake that sounds absolutely divine! They also will have a Woodford reserve signature cocktail paired with chocolates.

The Social Ice Cream Co (Angola)

While this ice cream shop is located in Angola and has been closed for the season, they are opening Friday, 2/11, for a few yet-to-be-announced Valentine’s Day treats. So if you live north of Fort Wayne but don’t want to make the drive, check out their Instagram or Facebook page for details!

Conner’s Kitchen (FW)

If you’re looking to really go all out for Valentine’s day this year, Conner’s Kitchen is now booking their 3 course Valentine’s dinner. The special event is for Saturday, 2/12/22. Cost is $120 for two people, or $225 for a group of four. The Valentine’s Dinner for Two includes a champagne toast, plus 2 cocktails, beer, or wine of choice, as well as 1 appetizer, two entrees, a dessert, and a Valentine’s Gift. If you book the group of 4 package, it comes with a bottle of champagne, 4 beverages of choice, two appetizers, four entrees, and two desserts, as well as the Valentine’s Day Gift!

GK Baked Goods (FW)

Local artisan bakery GK Baked Goods has put together a Valentine’s Day Bundle that is available for pre-order (must do so by Feb 10!!). Orders can be picked up on Valentine’s Day at Junk Ditch Brewing Co in Fort Wayne from 4-6PM. For $55, their Valentine’s Bundle includes a unique bouquet, a card designed by a local Fort Wayne artist, and a box of GK chocolate covered strawberry macarons!! Yum. El Azteca (FW)

From Feb 12-14, El Azteca is offering a 2 for $35 Valentine’s Day special that includes the following:

2 soups OR 1 queso or guacamole
2 Fajita Entrees (steak or chicken)
2 margaritas or 2 soft drinks or horchatas
2 desserts

Kilwins (FW)

Who doesn’t love Chocolate Covered Strawberries? They’re a Valentine’s Day staple. Kilwin’s FW will have milk chocolate and dark chocolate dipped berries available by the pound or half pound starting at $29.99/pound. Each order is totally customizable, so if you only want a couple berries, they can make it happen.

Giordanos Pizza (FW)

If you’re looking to stay home with some pizza and netflix, look no further than Giordano’s. They are selling packs of their frozen heart shaped pizzas, which are about 10″ each and serve roughly 2-3 people. A two pack will cost you about $85, and are available from 2/11-2/14.

Junk Ditch Brewing (FW)

Junk Ditch is offering a six course classic Valentines Tasting menu that looks absolutely divine. Spots are mostly booked, so I would call them ASAP to book a reservation/ask to be placed on a cancellation list. Cost is $115/person.

Utopian Coffee (FW)

If you thought Utopian was just coffee, think again! This Valentine’s Day, they’re offering a Dinner + Beer + Coffee tasting on Valentine’s Day from 6-8PM. This is a joint event put on by Utopian + Landing Beer Co (right next door). In addition to the 4 course meal, tickets include a 4-pack of Landing Beer Co beer and a 4 oz Heart & Arrow Utopian coffee. Tickets range in price from $70-$150, depending on number of people + desired experience. Check out their menu/levels on their website!

Tolon (FW)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Tolon! While they don’t have any special menu items, they will be open on V-Day from 5-9PM, and they are accepting reservations!

Kanela on Harrison (FW)

One of my favorite coffee shops, Kanela, is offering some fun February drink features, including a Raspberry Chai, a Cherry Cordial, a Raspberry Almond Blondie, and a Neopolitan macchiato which looks absolutely divine. They are also offering a healthy smoothie, the Chocolate Heart Beet, which has strawberries, beets, and chocolate whey protein.

Birdie’s (FW)

Birdies is offering a $100/2 people prix fixe 2 course menu! For an additional $25 per person, you can add a wine pairing. Birdie’s is cozy & known for their delicious eats and drinks, and reservations can be made through their website via Resy.

Mercado (FW)

Mercado is celebrating Valentine’s Day all week long from February 9-12th, and February 14th (closed on Sunday), with a Bae Watch themed week. Their limited menu will feature Grilled Garlic-Butter Lobster Tail, Fajitas, Flank Steak, Saffron Risotto, and Cebollitas. For dessert, they’re offering sopapillas filled with Strawberry Chamoy + Honey Glaze. Drool worthy.
