WHY WE LOVE TUBBY TODD

When it comes to baby products, there are literally a zillion and one different choices for every single category: strollers, diapers, wipes, formula, etc. I often find it incredibly exhausting to research which products are recommended, or safe, or clean, etc. And not only that, but every single baby will respond differently to every formula, detergent, soap, and lotion. Talk about a headache.

When Kassel was first born, I was overwhelmed with literally all of the things. I stumbled upon Karrie Locher’s instagram page, and eventually purchased her Bringing Home Baby Course (I seriously cannot recommend this enough. It gave me SANITY as a new mom. Kassel developed a mild case of cradle cap, and I was desperate to treat it. I now know that cradle cap is incredibly common, and normal for babies to develop at some point, but it freaked me out. Once his cradle cap was cleared up, the skin on his arms, legs, and back started drying out (probably due to daily baths, which he adores). But bathing can be really drying for some babies, and it definitely was and still is for Kassel. He started to develop some eczema, and I was once again desperate to treat it.
